Design Review
Design coordination challenges are one of the most common sources of increased costs, potential schedule impact, and rework in construction. In today’s day and age, fully coordinated consultant drawings are not so common, and the cost of unresolved conflicts can be expensive.

Our objective is to capture potential constructability conflicts ahead of time, prior to IFT drawings for large scale Multi Family, high-rise, low-rise, hotels, shopping centers or anything in-between. We have found our design reviews have a great impact with the success of a project in various areas, mitigating of cost, unnecessary consultant design fees, scope creep, SI’s, RFI’s, and potential schedule impact, mitigate risk of rework, mitigate potential risk redesign of suite layouts used by sales and marketing, and change orders.
We include a final Precon design review report or Pre-con RFI, which includes a consolidated review package with marked-up drawings, summary log of identified risks and potential design issues, and clarification items for PM/consultant follow-up.
In the final design review report, we will facilitate a teams meeting with the Project Manager, to walkthrough each item, ensuring full understanding and effective communication that they can share and coordinate with the design consultants.
